Over 3.5 inches of rain fell across Hillsborough County. The stray bands from approaching hurricane Isaias didn’t stop Layton Construction from celebrating the opening of its new Tampa, Florida office located in the Corporate Center at International Plaza. In the true spirit of Florida, as drizzles turned to downpours, the Layton office was filled with laughter, cheers and the serenade of Jimmy Buffett’s greatest hits as guests continued to arrive throughout the evening. Helix Electric has passed the 50% completion milestone on the $500 million Rosewood Calistoga project while also beginning construction on the Napa First Street development. The combined luxury hospitality projects represent over $750 million in investment and will create significant tourism revenue for the Calistoga and Napa communities. Mercer Mass Timber Powers Sustainable Construction for Walmart’s Landmark Home Office

Mercer Mass Timber recently played a key role in the construction of Walmart’s new home office in Bentonville, Arkansas — the largest mass timber corporate campus in the United States. The installation of the mass timber panels began in spring 2024 and is now fully complete.
