Skanska has invested about $460 million in phase 1 of Nowy Rynek, a mixed-use project located in Poznan, Poland. The six-story office building will have a total leasable area of around 270,000 square feet, with two underground parking levels. Nowy Rynek is Skanska’s third commercial development in Poznan. This project is a mixed-use complex with five independent buildings located in the central business district, creating a new quarter in the city of Poznan. University of Chicago to Reinvent Historic Residence Hall

CHICAGO, Ill. – Mortenson Construction has been chosen to transform a 1962 landmark building by architect Edward Durrell Stone into the new home for the University of Chicago, Illinois’ Harris School of Public Policy. Working from designs by architect of record Farr Associates and interior consultant Woodhouse Tinucci, Mortenson began construction in April on the renovation and expansion of the renamed Keller Center, which is scheduled to welcome students in January 2019. Bridgestone Americas Celebrates Topping Out of New Headquarters

NASHVILLE, Tenn. ― Bridgestone Americas, Inc. officials recently celebrated the topping out of its new headquarters in downtown Nashville, Tennessee to mark the completion of the 30-floor structure. Joined by Nashville Mayor Megan Barry, Bridgestone Americas leaders also announced a new name for the headquarters, which will eventually house corporate staff and teammates from four core business units, as well as supporting functions.
