Construction has begun on LOJYSA, a new mixed-use industrial and logistics park project situated near the U.S. border in Mexicali, Baja California. The project team for the 833-acre project includes general contractor ADCO and design firm Ware Malcomb. The site originally was slated as a beer brewing and distribution facility, a project that was canceled mid-construction following a successful local referendum in 2020. A mixed-use project with a usable floor space of around 40,000 square meters is being built on a site previously used as a parking lot in Muthgasse, located in Vienna’s Döbling district in Austria. STRABAG secured the contract from WBV-GPA in a bidding process. Multifunctionality and affordability are the hallmarks of the project at Muthgasse 50.
