WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Steel Erectors Association of America has joined other industry stakeholders in publicly supporting seven policy recommendations to make the United States the world leader in workforce development. The day-long event focused on connecting industry and veterans by providing networking opportunities and expert speakers from the Department of Labor, U.S. Army, NCCER, NextOp and more. BYF’s military recruitment initiative, Hard Hat Heroes, also provides an online credentialing portal, connections to military-friendly companies and job placement through partnership with NextOp. NCCER Elects 2018 Board President

NCCER elected C. Rockwell Turner, president of LPR Construction in Loveland, Colorado, as its 2018 board of trustees’ chairman. Turner will succeed Chip Reid, CEO of Current Builders in Pompano Beach, Florida, who remains a member of the executive committee.
