SEAA Makes Craft Training, Testing Available to College Students

SEAA is expanding its relationship with technical and community colleges in order to bring NCCER accredited testing for craft professions, including the SEAA/NCCER ironworker program, to students in local communities. NCCER Recognizes 2019 SkillsUSA National Carpentry, Masonry Competition Winners

NCCER recognizes the winners of this year’s SkillsUSA national carpentry and masonry competitions. The winners were announced at the 55th annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. More than 6,400 outstanding career and technical education students competed in 103 different craft, technical and leadership fields. The competitions were part of the SkillsUSA Championships, which is the national-level competition for secondary and postsecondary students enrolled in CTE programs. NCCER Announces Fifth Annual I Built This! Construction Video Contest

NCCER and Build Your Future have announced the fifth annual I BUILT THIS! video contest. Designed to help promote construction as an industry of choice, the contest illustrates the unique perspective of trainees or students and allows them to share videos of their projects. Haselden Wins National Safety Excellence Award

Haselden Construction recently won the Associated General Contractors of America Willis Towers Watson Construction Safety Excellence Award.
