Patients are now being cared for in the new Waipapa building at the Christchurch Hospital, located in New Zealand. The Waipapa building, formerly known as the Acute Services Building, is the largest hospital project ever delivered in New Zealand and has been constructed to stringent seismic requirements. CIMIC Group company, CPB Contractors, has been awarded Auckland (New Zealand) Airport’s Taxiway Mike and Remote Stands Stage 2 project, a critical component in the facility’s major capital works program. The contract will generate revenue to CPB Contractors of approximately NZ$221 million over the next two years.
