The American Iron and Steel Institute has published AISI S250-21, North American Standard for Thermal Transmittance of Building Envelopes With Cold-Formed Steel Framing, 2021 Edition, as a single source for calculating the thermal transmittance of walls and ceiling/roof envelope assembles that contain cold-formed steel framing. Additive Manufacturing Committee Seeks Participation to Develop Construction Standard
Interested parties are invited to participate in the development of a proposed ASTM International standard that will address quality requirements for additive manufacturing in building and construction. The proposed standard will have a specific focus on structural and infrastructure elements. ASTM International’s additive manufacturing technologies committee is developing the proposed standard.
