SEAA Confirms President Elect, Board Members for 2017-2019

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –During its April Board of Directors Meeting, the Steel Erectors Association of America elected David Schulz of Schulz Iron Works Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina, as president elect. As an active member of the executive committee, he will take office as president in 2018. All other officers will complete their two-year term in 2018. Steel Erectors Honor Charlie Johnson with William Davis Service Award

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – In recognition for his service to the steel construction industry, the Steel Erectors Association of America has named Charlie Johnson the recipient of the William Davis Service Award. The association’s highest honor, it is given in memory of William Davis, who held board and committee positions with SEAA in the 1980s and 1990s. Johnson, retired vice president and general manager of Steel Performance Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, has held officer and board member positions with the association, including president, vice president, treasurer and Long Range Planning Committee chairman.
