In August, the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention recently became classified as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and, on Sept. 25, held its first strategic planning session in Washington, D.C. Formed two years ago by the Construction Financial Management Association, the mission of the alliance is to provide and disseminate information and resources for suicide prevention and mental health promotion in construction. Lendlease to Host Mental Health Summit to Raise Awareness of Suicide in the Construction Industry

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Lendlease, through its Lendlease Foundation, it will host a Building Mental Health Awareness Event on April 20 in New York. Construction Industry Alliance Announces New Resources Aimed at Suicide Prevention

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Associated Builders and Contractors have made new resources available to its members through its membership in the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention. ABC joined the Construction Financial Management Association-led alliance in October 2016 to help provide resources and disseminate information on suicide prevention and mental health awareness in the construction industry, with a goal of building a zero-suicide industry.
