Groundbreaking was recently celebrated for a new residence hall complex for Cal Poly Humboldt, located in California, and the largest student housing project in the university’s history. The 964-bed Cal Poly Humboldt Student Housing Project will offer two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments with common lounges, study areas, conference spaces, computer and TV rooms, onsite laundry and a fitness center. BESIX and Wycor have been awarded the contract for a new campus and retail space on the Meir in Antwerp (Belgium). The project comprises the transformation of a building complex including the former site of Belgian telecommunications company Belgacom (now Proximus) and the two adjacent buildings. Located in the commercial center of Antwerp, the buildings — including the former Belgacom building — are getting a new, twofold destination after years of vacancy.
