Topping-Out Reached for Radford University’s Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity Project

Skanska has topped out on Radford University’s new Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity on July 22. Located in Radford, Virginia, the 178,000-square-foot building will replace the existing space for the College of Visual and Performing Arts and create interdisciplinary student spaces. CAIC represents the largest capital construction project in the history of Radford University in terms of total project funding and square footage. Skanska Selected to Build Virginia Tech’s $69.5-Million Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building

Skanska has been contracted to build Virginia Tech’s new Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building. Located in Blacksburg, Virginia, the new $69.5-million, approximately 102,000-gross-square-foot building will provide critical teaching laboratory and general use classroom space to support Virginia Tech’s growing enrollment and Beyond Boundaries vision.  The four-story building will house nearly 30 wet, dry and specialty laboratories designed to be flexible and adaptable to current and future instructional needs for the College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Natural Resources and Environment, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
