Construction Employment Increases in 38 States, D.C. from November 2018 to November 2019

Thirty-eight states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between November 2018 and November 2019, while construction employment increased in 18 states from October to November, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data. Construction Employment Rises in August, Unemployment Rate near Historic Lows

Construction employment increased by 14,000 jobs in August and by 177,000, or 2.4%, over the past 12 months, while the number of unemployed jobseekers with construction experience remained near historic lows, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America.
