HOCHTIEF has been awarded a contract by the Federal Building Department to act as project partner in the development of the Helmut Schmidt University campus of the German Armed Forces in Hamburg. The entire project has an investment volume in the billion-Euro range. HOCHTIEF is responsible for demolition, extended shell construction and façade work on the “Campus DOK” project. Poland’s Largest Railway Hub Opens Post-Modernization
The largest railway junction in Poland, the Warsaw West station, has recently opened following almost five years of comprehensive modernization conducted by Budimex, the Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial. Located in the western part of Warsaw, the station serves up to 60,000 passengers and accommodates nearly 1,000 trains daily.
