Construction has begun on the Ismaili Center in Houston, Texas. As the first Ismaili Center in the United States, it joins six other centers in Dubai, UAE; Dushanbe, Tajikistan; Lisbon, Portugal); London, England; Toronto, Canada and Vancouver, Washington. With roughly 15 million Ismaili Muslims around the world, Texas has the largest concentration in the United States with over 40,000 members, the majority of which live in and around Houston. Contractor Selected to Build Ultra-Fast Charging Stations across Germany

French construction firm Vinci recently won a deal to acquire land and then build and operate 106 charging stations for electric vehicles across Germany. The Germany Ministry for Digital and Transport has awarded Vinci Concessions three contracts to develop the ultra-fast (400kW power rating) charging stations. The development represents a total investment in excess of €200 million. In total, it will see the installation of 828 individual charging points. A pathology laboratory designed to serve patients across West Yorkshire (England) has recently opened. Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Centre for Laboratory Medicine marks a significant milestone in regional healthcare as it is set to house pathology services from Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
