California’s Newark Civic Center – a 73,240-square-foot Design-Build project delivered by Webcor and its Design-Build partner Perkins&Will – has reached completion. The team built three new buildings, a new public plaza featuring terrace seating and a new parking lot. The new City Hall is modern and inviting and includes a new Council Chambers. Central Business Tower High-Rise in Frankfurt Receives Green Light
It’s launch time in Frankfurt, Germany’s financial district for the central business tower on Neue Mainzer Strasse. This paves the way for construction of a new high-rise designed by KSP Engel and to be built by general contractor Ed. Züblin AG. The 205-meter-high building consists of two parts that face each other, albeit at a slight angle, and are linked by a connecting seam. With striking setbacks for the protruding flanks, a slender, delicately segmented twin tower arises with a total of 52 floors above ground and five beneath. Addition to Heathrow Warehouse Aims for Carbon Neutral Operations upon Completion
abrdn’s Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust fund has begun construction on its latest airport-related warehouse development at Blackthorne Point, located immediately to the west of Heathrow Airport on the Poyle Trading Estate in London, England. The new, 27,760-square-foot building will occupy a 1.2-acre plot along Blackthorne Road in Poyle, just across from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and close to Junction 14 of the M25.
