Between 2021 and 2022, almost 450 construction workers suffered a fatal head injury, and another 11,600 had injuries severe enough to force them to miss work. DOL Finalizes Rule on Proper Fit Requirements for PPE in Construction

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has finalized a revision to the personal protective equipment standard for construction. General Contractor Selected to Deliver $168 Million in Student Housing Projects in Florida

Three major student housing projects in Southern and Central Florida, with a combined contract value of approximately $168 million, will be led by general contractor Balfour Beatty. The projects include the Rollins College East End Neighborhood in Winter Park, Florida Atlantic University’s 2026 Campus Student Housing project in Boca Raton and Nova Southeastern University’s dining renovation in Fort Lauderdale.
