Tor Alva in Switzerland Unveiled
Tor Alva was recently inaugurated in Mulegns, Switzerland. The almost 30-meter-high, gleaming white tower is hailed as the world’s tallest 3D-printed building. This new architectural landmark and pioneering work of digital fabrication was built to revive the 11-person mountain village threatened by depopulation. The Origen cultural foundation led the work in collaboration with ETH Zurich, to celebrate culture and the arts and to give the village a new lease on life. CIMIC’s Leighton Asia to Construct $200M Luxury Residential Construction Project in India
CIMIC Group company Leighton Asia has been awarded a contract by real estate developer Elan Group to deliver a luxury residential project in Gurugram, India. The project, known as Elan The Emperor, is located in the same area where Leighton Asia is constructing an eight-tower development, Elan The Presidential, also for the Elan Group. A delegation of students and instructors from a technical training program for the Gambian housing and urban-rural development sector located in China, recently visited the Nanning Wuxu International Airport’s Terminal 3 (Section 2), undertaken by general contractor CSCEC, for a site tour and technical exchange.
