Barton Malow, Woodchuck Partner with NorthStar Clean Energy to Drive Sustainability
Woodchuck—an AI-powered climate-tech startup and general contractor Barton Malow have recently partnered to divert wood waste from Michigan’s Hart Solar Farm project away from landfills and into clean energy production. Together, the companies are not only diverting thousands of tons of wood waste from landfills, but also saving valuable time and resources by streamlining the waste hauling process. The Paul and Diane Manning Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia has reached a major milestone with its recent topping out, led by development and construction firm Skanska. Lab Releases First-Ever Ratings for Construction Helmets
The 2018 collapse of a pedestrian bridge in Miami, Florida served as a headgear wake-up call for Scott Greenhaus. Arab Contractors Constructing Floating Hotel for Abercrombie & Kent
Arab Contractors Company and Abercrombie & Kent recently signed a contract to manufacture a floating tourist hotel (Interbuild 2). The floating hotel will consist of 32 suites with a total of 64 guests and will operate on the Nile River between Luxor and Aswan (Egypt). The main dimensions of the hotel are 72 meters long, 14.4 meters wide and 11.5 meters high.
