Taunton State Hospital Project Receives Preservation Award

BOSTON, Mass. – The Taunton State Hospital WRAP (Women’s Recovery from Addictions Program) project has been awarded the Preservation Massachusetts 2017 Paul and Niki Tsongas Award. The project was recognized in the category: Best Use – Community and Social Services. The Tsongas Award recognized the renovation, which includes 17,050 square feet of the historic Taunton State Hospital’s Chambers Building, a secure facility that houses women who are recovering from addiction and substance abuse. Hard Hat Heroes Credentialing Portal Releases Navy, Air Force Alignments

ALACHUA, Fla. — Build Your Future’s military initiative, Hard Hat Heroes, has expanded its credentialing portal by releasing alignments for two new branches: Navy and Air Force. Through this portal, veterans can apply to receive NCCER industry-recognized credentials for the construction-related training they received while in the military. University of Chicago to Reinvent Historic Residence Hall

CHICAGO, Ill. – Mortenson Construction has been chosen to transform a 1962 landmark building by architect Edward Durrell Stone into the new home for the University of Chicago, Illinois’ Harris School of Public Policy.
