Planera Unleashes Visual, Collaborative Scheduling in the Field with iPad Launch
Planera’s construction scheduling solution is now available for iPad users, making it easy for project team members in the field to contribute to the creation of field schedules for pull-planning and to update the status of those schedules on the jobsite. Historically, there’s been a disconnect between schedules created in the office and the planning that happens in the field. The office-created schedules are often built to meet contractual requirements — not to guide day-to-day work — and they’re rarely updated in real time. Meanwhile, superintendents and trades rely on spreadsheets or whiteboards to plan the work, adjusting on the […]
KIOTI Introduces Flow+ System for Compact Loaders
KIOTI Tractor launches Flow+ technology, an advancement in hydraulic performance for its compact construction equipment lineup. The Flow+ Compact Track Loaders (TL750) and Skid Steer Loaders (SL750) enhance hydraulic capabilities for operators, who need more power than standard flow, without the excessive cost or fuel consumption of full high-flow systems. Designed for light- to medium-duty hydraulic attachments, Flow+ allows operators to seamlessly run attachments — like rotary cutters, trenchers and snow blowers — while supporting standard-flow attachments for everyday tasks, making the machine more versatile across jobs. Flow+ optimizes performance and long-term durability by reducing heat and wear compared to […]
LOJYSA Industrial Park Masterplan Underway in Mexicali, Baja California
Construction has begun on LOJYSA, a new mixed-use industrial and logistics park project situated near the U.S. border in Mexicali, Baja California. The project team for the 833-acre project includes general contractor ADCO and design firm Ware Malcomb. The site originally was slated as a beer brewing and distribution facility, a project that was canceled mid-construction following a successful local referendum in 2020. Subsequently, a group of investors acquired the site with the intent to develop a large-scale industrial park that would support city growth and align with community goals. The LOJYSA project masterplan leverages existing access routes and key […]
