Contract Awarded for New Maternity and Children’s Ward at Hospital in France

The Réunion University Hospital has awarded the contract for the design, construction, fitting out, upkeep and maintenance of the future Bâtiment Femme Parent Enfant in France to a consortium led by Demathieu Bard Construction, with GTOI (a subsidiary of the Colas/Bouygues Group) as a co-contractor, along with architectural consultancy SCAU and engineering consultancy Artelia. Balfour Beatty Tapped to Build New Forres Academy in Moray, Scotland

Balfour Beatty was awarded an £83-million contract by Hub North Scotland to construct the new Forres Academy school in Moray, Scotland, on behalf of the Moray Council. Through the contract, the project team will be responsible for the construction of the new 12,143-square-meter secondary school campus, which will include facilities such as a new 3G artificial grass sports pitch and car park.
