A new fire station, long in the works, is now underway in Lake Havasu City. City officials, first responders and community members joined Willmeng Construction to break ground on the new Fire Station No. 7 in Lake Havasu City. Fire Station No. 7 is a priority investment designed to boost emergency coverage for the community. Willmeng Construction began work on GO|99 North, the newest 1-million-square-foot speculative industrial building in the Valley. For developer GO Industrial, the 1.1-million-square-foot, Class A warehouse and distribution facility is the largest single building the company has brought to market. Designed by DLR Group, GO|99 North is the firm’s second development in southwest Phoenix. GO|99 South, a three building, 1.28-million-square-foot industrial park, was built by Willmeng and then sold in 2023 for $165 million, one of the largest industrial transactions of that year. Gilbane, University of New Hampshire Host Beam-Signing Ceremony for Ocean Mapping Research Center

Gilbane Building joined the University of New Hampshire for a beam-signing ceremony for the new Center of Excellence for Operational Ocean and Great Lakes Mapping, a milestone in the construction of the 70,500-square-foot research facility in Durham, New Hampshire. The building will house the Center of Excellence, alongside the John Olson Advanced Manufacturing Center, supporting applied research, training and technical assistance in ocean mapping. It will also include 35,000 square feet of high-bay space for industry partners collaborating with UNH. Gilbane Building is serving as design-builder in partnership with Stantec. The project is scheduled to open in fall 2027.
