The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute is accepting entries through Feb. 24 for its annual awards program, which acknowledges outstanding achievement in creative design, technical innovation and best practices in the use of cold-formed steel and recognizes individuals who have volunteered significant time and talent to the cold-formed steel industry. The 2023 CFSEI awards will be presented in three categories: Design Excellence, Creative Detail and the John P. Matsen Award for Distinguished Service. Boldt Surpasses 10M Hours Without Lost Time Injury

The Boldt Company has achieved a safety milestone: logging 10-million hours without a lost time incident. Safety statistics are reported from the company’s jobsites nationwide and represent self-performed work hours across diverse geographies and projects. Leaders credit operational practices that ensure all employees are educated on safe work practices, work crews have appropriate equipment, and frequent jobsite audits uncover potential problems. For 2022, the company established a Total Recordable Incident Rate of less than one.
