John Mathias has been promoted to general superintendent at Blach Construction, a full-service commercial builder serving California’s Greater Bay Area and Monterey. A 45-year construction veteran, Mathias joined Blach in 2012 as a superintendent with a diverse portfolio of innovative, complex projects. David Lee Promoted to Senior Project Superintendent
David Lee has recently been promoted to senior project superintendent with Kitchell. He has worked his way up through the field since joining the company in 1994. Known as one of the best concrete superintendents in the industry, Lee has made his mark on legacy Kitchell projects, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Phoenician and, most recently, the Catalina Parking Garage. He is a leader and mentor to project engineers and field engineers, as well as project managers, colleagues and trade partners.

Laura Skellie, superintendent at JE Dunn Construction, has been elected president of the Coastal Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. Prior to the president’s position, she served the chapter as a director and committee chair. A 10-year industry veteran, Skellie is the superintendent overseeing the renovation of Coastal Harbor Treatment Center located in Savannah, Georgia.
