Topping-Out Ceremony Marks Milestone for The Q Transformation

A major construction milestone in The Q Transformation to update and modernize the 25-year–old publicly owned Quicken Loans Arena was celebrated with a special topping-out ceremony to hoist the project’s final steel beam into place atop of the arena, located in Cleveland, Ohio. General contractor on the project is Whiting Turner. The topping out culminates almost a year of structural steel work on the project, which began in February 2018. Construction of Second Underground Proton Therapy Vault at Siteman Cancer Center Affords Complexity, Challenges

Kadean Construction has begun building a 48,000-cubic-foot, underground concrete vault to house a 120 ton cyclotron for Siteman Cancer Center’s second proton treatment facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The vault is being built beneath a parking garage on the Washington University Medical Campus, which also includes Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, in the city’s Central West End. Sundt Construction, Inc. recently celebrated the completion of the city of Mesa, Arizona’s Signal Butte Water Treatment Plant.
