JACKSON, Miss. – Brasfield & Gorrie has completed work on the Westin Jackson, a new full-service hotel in Jackson, Mississippi. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of the hotel. Conveniently located in the growing downtown area, the Westin Jackson is the first luxury global hotel brand in the city. The nine-story, 174,000-square-foot structure features 203 rooms and suites. Amenities include a fitness center, restaurant, resort-style spa, Westin club lounge and indoor pool. The facility also features 12,000 square feet of meeting space. Working with Watry Design and Gensler, this 418,725-square-foot project is scheduled to complete in June 2018.
