McCarthy Building Companies has been awarded the next major phase of Reno-Tahoe International Airport’s historic MoreRNO Infrastructure Program—the construction of the airport’s New Gen A&B Concourses. The New Gen A&B Concourse project has a pre-approved $650 million budget, backed by a 10-year airline agreement. Construction Begins on Expansion Project at Huron Regional Medical Center

Kraus-Anderson has begun a $13-million expansion project at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, South Dakota. Designed by Wold HFR Design, the 7,500-square-foot addition will feature four new operating rooms, staff lockers and a lounge. The project also includes an 11,581-square-foot renovation of the existing operating room suite, endoscopy rooms and pre and post operating rooms, along with a new 19,081-square-foot a sterile processing area and support spaces. Swinerton Builders, a commercial general contractor, has announced the build-out of Dole Food Company’s new US headquarters in the One South building in Uptown Charlotte. The office construction project is expected to be completed this fall, with construction currently underway. Dole’s new US headquarters occupies the entire sixth floor of One South, a 40-story Class-A office tower. The first portion of the land to be developed is approximately 2,700 acres of property.
