Designed by DSGW Architecture, the project includes a comprehensive 10,000-square-foot renovation. Key updates include relocating the main entrance; phased enhancements to the waiting areas and registration desk; and the expansion and renovation of the OB/GYN and podiatry clinics, as well as the Optical Shop. The project also added new patient parking, including close, accessible handicap stalls directly adjacent to the new entrance. Construction Begins on Expansion Project at Huron Regional Medical Center

Kraus-Anderson has begun a $13-million expansion project at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, South Dakota. Designed by Wold HFR Design, the 7,500-square-foot addition will feature four new operating rooms, staff lockers and a lounge. The project also includes an 11,581-square-foot renovation of the existing operating room suite, endoscopy rooms and pre and post operating rooms, along with a new 19,081-square-foot a sterile processing area and support spaces. Kraus-Anderson Completes $24 Million Windom Area Health in Windom, Minnesota

Kraus-Anderson has completed a new $24-million medical building in Windom, Minnesota for Windom Area Health. Recognizing the growing needs of the region, WAH partnered with Sanford Health to develop a 52,000-square foot clinic expansion owned by the city of Windom and funded by WAH. The project creates a connection to the existing hospital while establishing a separate clinic identity.
