The Korte Company was awarded the $6.8-million Design-Build project, which includes multiple improvements to the school’s outdoor athletic facilities. SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. recently celebrated the topping out of the new San Diego Central Courthouse in San Diego, California. The topping out recognized the work of the construction crews and project partners as the 25-story, $555-million project was assembled to its full height. Skanska Converts Commercial Building in San Francisco into Hotel
ÖSTERSUND, Sweden – Skanska has signed a contract with 1095 Market Street Owner to renovate 1095 Market St. in San Francisco, California, converting the historic structure into a hotel. The contract is worth $38 million. The project consists of rehabilitation of a historic commercial office building originally built in 1904. The existing eight story, approximately 22,000-square-foot building will receive a top-to-bottom renovation, including seismic structural upgrades. Additionally, a new story will be inserted within the ground floor level, resulting in a nine-story 25,600-square-foot high-rise building. PORTLAND, Ore. – Multnomah County and Slayden-Sundt, a joint venture of Slayden Constructors and Sundt Construction, Inc., recently celebrated the opening of Multnomah County’s new $227-million Sellwood Bridge in Portland, Oregon. Serving as the construction manager/general contractor for the 2,000-foot-long bridge, Slayden-Sundt replaced the original, deteriorating structure with a wider, pedestrian-friendly bridge that can accommodate the area’s growing traffic volume.
