Logistics Property Company Breaks Ground on Oak Forest Logistics Center

Logistics Property Company has begun construction on a new logistics center in Oak Forest, Illinois. The nearly 665,000-square-foot development is located with immediate access to the I-57 four-way interchange at 167th Street, just two miles from the I-57 and I-80 interchange and three miles from I-294. Located 24 miles from downtown Chicago, the building will feature four drive-in doors, 117 exterior docks and parking for 116 trailers and more than 500 cars. New High School in Galveston, Texas Breaks Ground

Team members from Galveston Independent School District, Zero/Six Consulting, Gilbane Building Company, J.W. Kelso Construction and PBK Architects gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. Western Specialty Contractors – Orlando Branch has completed improvements to Stetson University’s Melching Field stadium in DeLand, Florida. Home to the Stetson Hatters, Melching Field opened in 1999 and features a full-service concessions area and bench seating for 2,500 spectators with grass berms for approximately 500 additional fans. The red brick and stucco stadium demonstrated signs of weathering, as well as wear-and-tear upon the initial evaluation. Robins & Morton and Corporate Office Properties Trust completed two build-to-suit facilities and a parking deck in Huntsville, Alabama, which have been leased by Northrop Grumman. The project team also included Powers Brown Architecture.   The two Class A tilt-wall buildings total approximately 260,000 square feet and each stand five stories tall.   Sitework and construction began in February 2021.
