After announcing the forthcoming development of Ryan Tower in October 2021, Ryan Companies has commenced on the 23-story multi-tenant Class AA office tower in Plano, Texas. The 409,000-square-foot tower is located in the heart of Legacy West, a lush urban destination lined with retail, dining, residential, hotel and office spaces. Big-D Construction recently wrapped up its services as the program manager consultant for the Utah State Prison Relocation project. A joint venture with Kitchell CEM, the Utah State Correctional Facility is one of the largest construction projects in the state’s history. Skanska has been selected by the Virginia Port Authority to redevelop approximately 72 acres of the 287-acre Portsmouth Marine Terminal for use as an offshore wind staging port. The $223-million project includes improving 1,500 feet of an existing 3,540-foot wharf.
