Big-D Midwest, a member of the Big-D Construction Family of Companies, recently broke ground on The Landing at Amber Fields Apartments, a 160-unit housing development in Rosemount, Minnesota. Coming in at just over 250,000 square feet, Amber Fields Apartments is part of the larger Amber Fields Development happening around this neighborhood that will feature new construction homes and future commercial space. Future students and staff attended the grand opening of the new Alamo Colleges District San Antonio College First Responders Academy facility. The building, built by Gilbane Building Company, is slated to host its first class of students in the spring of 2024. The ground-up facility is anticipated to serve the growing population of San Antonio, Texas and meet the educational priorities of the surrounding community. New Arizona State University-Owned Parking Structure Opens

Construction completed on the $42-million, six-level, 429,000-square-foot Mill Avenue Parking Structure for Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. The new parking structure, a design-build partnership between DFDG Architecture and general contractor McCarthy Building Companies, adds 1,205 parking spaces to the busy area and provides designated valet parking for the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, as well as for events at the Nelson Fine Arts Center and Gammage Auditorium.
