McCarthy Grows Aviation Portfolio with Helisim Project

McCarthy Building Companies is working with HPM Leadership and Airbus Helicopters Inc. and Helisim (a French joint venture of Airbus, Thales AVS and DCI), to build a helicopter pilot simulation training center in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Helisim Simulation Center is the company’s first helicopter training facility in North America and serves as its North American headquarters. Ground was recently broken for the new downtown Columbus Crew Major League Soccer Stadium, located in Ohio and set to open in July 2021. Turner Construction Company and joint venture partner Smoot Construction Company are providing the Design-Build services for the 460,000-square-foot facility, which will serve as the home to the Columbus Crew Soccer Club. UC Los Angeles Selects General Contractor for $27M Botany Building Renovations

UC Los Angeles, California, has selected BNBuilders to provide extensive renovations to the campus’ Botany Building. The $27-million project, designed by CO Architects, comes on the heels of BNBuilders’ recent $6-million renovations to UC Los Angeles’ Agoura Road medical suites and the $23.8-million Geffen Academy renovation in the campus’ Kinross Building. New Natural Resources Headquarters Tops Out

The New Natural Resources Headquarters project in Sacramento, California topped out with its last piece of structural steel at 344 feet. The 22-story office tower will be the new headquarters for the State of California Natural Resources Agency.
