The Northeast Texas Cancer and Research Institute in Tyler, Texas recently topped out. A Cottonwood Development project, the 85,000-square-foot research facility is located on the CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Tyler campus and will provide outpatient care to surrounding communities. General contractor McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. broke ground on the project in May 2021 and is expected to complete construction in September of this year. TDIndustries Contributes to Dallas Skyline with Design-Build Project

As The Link at Uptown luxury office tower in Dallas, Texas draws in tenants to its stunning location, TDIndustries celebrates the completion of the mechanical construction phase of the Design-Build project. Over its three years of planning and construction with the owner and project partners Balfour Beatty, BOKA Powell and Kaizen Development, TD installed all of the HVAC, plumbing and building controls for the project, including three 300 ton chillers on the building’s roof. Thoughtful planning early on influenced design decisions that will save future repair and maintenance costs throughout the life of the building.

Gilbane, in a joint venture partnership with cleanroom constructor Exyte, has been awarded the firm fixed price construction of a new a $279-million Advanced Compound Semiconductor Laboratory/Microsystem Integration Facility for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. MIT LL is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center chartered to apply advanced technology to problems of national security.
