Gilbane | Turner in Association with 34 Group Selected to Build Stadium for the Buffalo Bills

The joint venture of Gilbane Building Company and Turner Construction Company in association with 34 Group, has been selected by Pegula Sports & Entertainment to provide construction management of the planned new NFL stadium for the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, New York. The project team also includes the project management firm, Legends Project Development and Populous as the designer.

Erickson-Hall Completes Pacific Sky School in San Diego

Erickson-Hall Construction Co. joined more than 100 educators, community members and stakeholders to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Pacific Sky School in Del Mar Union School District. Peppa Pig Theme Park, the first standalone theme park in the world dedicated solely to the cartoon pig and her friends, has earned a 2022 Design-Build Institute of America Florida Region Merit Award in the civic/assembly category. Located in Winter Haven, Florida, near LEGOLAND Florida, the theme park adds to Barton Malow’s theme park construction portfolio. Sixth and Guadalupe Mixed-Use Tower Tops Out in Austin

Standing taller than any building in Austin, Texas, Sixth and Guadalupe has topped out at its final height of 865 feet. This milestone has been two and a half years of a steady vertical climb and was met successfully. USGBC Announces Updates to LEED v4

The U.S. Green Building Council announced updates to the primary version of the LEED green building certification program, LEED v4, to more directly address carbon emissions and climate change. With the change, building design and construction and Interior design and construction projects will be able to demonstrate improvement in energy performance with LEED v4.1’s metric of energy cost or greenhouse gas emissions in addition to LEED v4’s original source energy metric.
