AIA Releases Updated Construction Management Contract Documents

The American Institute of Architects is releasing thirteen new and updated Construction Management documents, including the Construction Manager as Constructor and the Construction Manager as Adviser families. CMcs are brought on in the beginning of the preconstruction phase of a project to provide collaboration and input, which allows for greater efficiency from project inception. Ground Broken for New Kaiser Permanente MOB

Ground was recently broken for Kaiser Permanente’s Hesperia medical office building, located in California. The 54,000-square-foot MOB is scheduled to open in 2021 and will include prefabricated elements including exterior and interior wall panels built to reduce the construction duration, meanwhile delivering quality healthcare to the high desert.
