Construction Employment Increases in 3/5 of Nation’s Metro Areas Between August 2015 & 2016
Construction employment increased in three-fifths of metro areas between August 2015 and August 2016—the smallest share in nearly three and a half years—as contractors in many areas report difficulty in finding qualified workers, according to a new analysis of federal employment data recently released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Korte Company Begins Construction on Edmond Readiness Center
The Korte Company begins construction on the Edmond Readiness Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. Originally constructed in 1971 as an armory and indoor firing range, the Edmond Readiness Center project’s scope of work includes a comprehensive interior renovation of the existing 28,000-square-foot facility. Today, the facility serves as the battalion headquarters for the Oklahoma Army National Guard 1st Battalion, 179th Regiment.
