Fluor Corporation’s joint venture with JGC Corporation has been awarded the contract to update the Front End Engineering and Design for a proposed Phase 2 expansion of the LNG Canada facility located on the traditional territory of Haisla Nation in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada. This award follows the commissioning of Phase 1 with the recent shipment of the project’s first liquefied natural gas export cargo. Construction is complete on a new industrial property on Mississauga Road in Mississauga, Ontario (Canada). Ware Malcomb provided architectural design services for the 270,738-square-foot industrial building, located on a redeveloped 14-acre site. The industrial project, known as Meadowvale South, was developed by CanFirst Capital Management on behalf of CanFirst Industrial Realty Fund VII LP. The project features a 40-foot clear building height, 42 dock-level doors, two grade-level doors, 50-foot-wide by 54-foot-deep bays and a 60-foot staging bay. Ware Malcomb provided architecture design services for the 398,000-square-foot project. General contracting services were provided by Leesswood Construction.
