A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the €840-million Diriyah Square – Package 2 Super-Basement Works, a mega, multi-level car park to be built for 10,500 vehicles in Riyadh, located in Saudi Arabi. The three-story underground garage, covering nearly 1 million square meters, lies at the heart of an ambitious urban development project in Ad Diriyah, the historic district and UNESCO heritage site northwest of Riyadh. Led by Webuild, its construction will employ 9,000 people as it unites tradition with development. Multistory Car Park Underway for University Hospitals of Derby, Burton

Construction has begun on a new £6.4-million multistory car park at Queen’s Hospital Burton, located in England. The project is being delivered for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust to improve the experience for visitors and patients. Set over three stories, the car park is being built on land behind the treatment center on the hospital’s main site, and will provide 425 additional spaces, including designated electric charging points.
