HOUSTON, Texas – Linbeck Group, LLC has completed construction of the new Agriculture & Business Multipurpose Classroom Building at Prairie View A&M University in Houston, Texas. At a total cost of $29 million, the 96,000-square-foot building joins together the College of Business and the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences into a centrally located hub of activity at the university, located 45 miles northwest of Houston. Amenities of the four-story multipurpose facility include a student lounge, study space, classrooms, wet labs and computer labs. Construction Begins on New Pima Animal Care Center
TUCSON, Ariz. – Construction of a new shelter is underway at Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona. Sundt Construction, Inc. recently began the first phase of the project. The new shelter will be approximately 60,000 square feet. Nearly 93 percent of the total area is allocated to functions that directly house or support the housing, care and adoption of pets at PACC. Winter Construction Tops Out Solis Hotel
ATLANTA, Ga. – Winter Construction has topped out the new Solis Hotel Two Porsche Drive. The new eight-story luxury hotel is adjacent to Georgia’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Porsche North America headquarters. The topping out at Solis Hotel is especially notable given the unique design of the roof, which includes a terrace lounge with panoramic views of the Porsche driver development track and landings and takeoffs at the airport.
