Construction Begins on New Pima Animal Care Center

TUCSON, Ariz. – Construction of a new shelter is underway at Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona. Sundt Construction, Inc. recently began the first phase of the project. The new shelter will be approximately 60,000 square feet. Nearly 93 percent of the total area is allocated to functions that directly house or support the housing, care and adoption of pets at PACC. Winter Construction Tops Out Solis Hotel

ATLANTA, Ga. – Winter Construction has topped out the new Solis Hotel Two Porsche Drive. The new eight-story luxury hotel is adjacent to Georgia’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Porsche North America headquarters. The topping out at Solis Hotel is especially notable given the unique design of the roof, which includes a terrace lounge with panoramic views of the Porsche driver development track and landings and takeoffs at the airport. Skanska to Build Life Sciences Building for University of Washington

Skanska has signed a contract with the University of Washington to build the school’s new Life Sciences building and greenhouse. The contract is worth $71 million. The new seven-story building will include more than 52,000 square feet of laboratory space and classrooms. Additionally, Skanska will construct approximately 4,500 square feet of new greenhouse space. Construction is under way with completion scheduled for summer 2018.
