David Rubenstein Forum at University of Chicago Named Best Tall Building Worldwide in 2022 by Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has selected the David Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago (Illinois) as the best tall building worldwide in 2022. CTBUH also recognized The David Rubenstein Forum as the 2022 Best Tall Building under 100 meters and the 2022 Best Tall Building in the Americas. Turner Construction Company served as the general contractor on the project. The 10-story building contains a 285-seat auditorium, along with lecture halls and numerous multipurpose rooms for learning. VIΛ Courtscraper Completes Construction in New York City

VIΛ 57 West, designed by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group for the Durst Organization, introduces a new typology to New York City: the Courtscraper. The 830,000-square-foot high-rise combines the density of the American skyscraper with the communal space of the European courtyard, offering 709 residential units with a lush 22,000-square-foot garden at the heart of the building.
