Design-Built Student Housing Complex at Cal Poly Humboldt Underway

Groundbreaking was recently celebrated for a new residence hall complex for Cal Poly Humboldt, located in California, and the largest student housing project in the university’s history. The 964-bed Cal Poly Humboldt Student Housing Project will offer two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments with common lounges, study areas, conference spaces, computer and TV rooms, onsite laundry and a fitness center. Environmentally sustainable features of the complex include all electric systems, high-efficiency irrigation, water-efficient plumbing, energy-efficient lighting and appliances, durable exterior building materials and electric vehicle charging stations. Offutt AFB Breaks Ground on Project to Restore Area Destroyed by 2019 Flood

Offutt Air Force Base personnel and guests recently broke ground on the new 55th security forces squadron campus located in Omaha, Nebraska. New Kansas City International Airport Terminal Brings Enhanced Air Travel Experience to Region

FMI Consulting Report Projects Continued Design-Build Growth

A report from FMI Consulting forecasts continued growth of design-build over the next three years, despite recent industry challenges and market volatility. FMI’s findings indicate that design-build is anticipated to account for 47% of construction spending and a 22.5% growth in total design-build spending by 2026. Design-Build Team to Deliver Future Police Station for City of Nice

The French Ministry of the Interior, in association with the city of Nice, France, has retained general contractor VINCI Construction subsidiary Dumez Côte d’Azur and architect Wilmotte & Associés to build the future police station for the city of Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France.
