The Beck Group has launched construction on the first Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Texas. Kintetsu Group Holdings, a Japanese-based global enterprise with interests spanning hospitality, transportation and real estate, hosted the groundbreaking of its Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano. Projected to open fall 2027, the 12-story, 217-room boutique hotel seeks to bring Japanese elegance and premier service to the North Texas region. The Friendship Foundation has received final approval from the State of California’s Division of the State Architect and permits to begin construction on its new Friendship Campus for intellectually and physically diverse students in Redondo Beach, Calif. FF has selected Project Delivery Group as the general contractor for this phase of construction, which includes remaining demolition, earthwork, utility prep and foundation work for the 64,000-square-foot facility.
