The Siemensbahn, a historic landmark of Berlin, Germany’s transport infrastructure, is being reactivated after more than 40 years of disuse. As part of the “i2030 – More Tracks for Berlin and Brandenburg” project, a modern, high-performance link between Jungfernheide and Gartenfeld is being established. Deutsche Bahn has opted for a track partnership model (“Partnerschaftsmodell Schiene”) for the implementation. The “INK – Inspire Neukölln,” at Ballinstrasse 15 (Germany), celebrates its successful completion. Ed. ZÜBLIN AG implemented the construction project as general contractor on behalf of CMF Capital GmbH and EPISO 5, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners. Inspire Neukölln, a sustainably designed office complex with a total gross floor area of 30,000 square meters, is located on the site of a former printing works. Germany’s first YEXIO data center has entered operation – a milestone for sustainable digital infrastructure. The project, delivered by HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions and Palladio Partners, marks the launch of a nationwide network of 15 decentralized edge data centers. Rail Network Contract Awarded to Boost Mobility on Munich S-Bahn

HOCHTIEF, together with its partner Implenia, has been awarded a major contract by Deutsche Bahn for the second main line of the S-Bahn rail network in Munich (Germany). The new project mainly involves connecting the Ostbahnhof station with the Marienhof stop in the heart of the Bavarian capital. Both companies each have a 50% share in the Tunnel Ostbahnhof consortium. Joint Venture to Construct Data Center in Germany

Yorizon, a joint venture between HOCHTIEF subsidiary HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions and German server and storage systems manufacturer Thomas-Krenn.AG, will be building a network of sustainable, decentralized and locally integrated data centers in Europe. The first of the YEXIO series with Yorizon equipment will open in Heiligenhaus (NRW, Germany) in summer 2025. The land for two more of these data centers has already been secured.
