A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the €840-million Diriyah Square – Package 2 Super-Basement Works, a mega, multi-level car park to be built for 10,500 vehicles in Riyadh, located in Saudi Arabi. The three-story underground garage, covering nearly 1 million square meters, lies at the heart of an ambitious urban development project in Ad Diriyah, the historic district and UNESCO heritage site northwest of Riyadh. Groundbreaking ceremonies for San Mateo County, California’s first “navigation center,” designed to provide temporary living units and intensive onsite support services for individuals and couples experiencing homelessness, were held in mid-April.
