Structural work is complete on the marquee development within the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct, the $600-million UNSW Health Translation Hub located in Sydney, Australia. The 35,000-square-meter facility is being developed by Plenary, in partnership with UNSW Sydney, bringing together researchers, clinicians, educators, industry partners and public health officials to drive excellence and support the rapid translation of innovative research and education into improved patient care and better community health outcomes. Construction Complete on West Bed Tower Expansion at Shannon Medical Center

Construction is complete on the west bed tower at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas. The seven-story, 140,000-square-foot expansion broke ground in early 2023, and will allow the healthcare provider to serve a wider range of patients across Concho Valley. The project team included Hoar Construction, O’Connell Robertson and Datum Engineers. Shannon Medical Center campus spans just over 1.5 million square feet. UAB Medicine Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Tops Out

The topping out of University of Alabama at Birmingham Medicine’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility was recently celebrated to signify the new downtown Birmingham building has reached its tallest point. The 11-story rehabilitation facility broke ground in May of 2022, and is expected to be completed by early 2025. Hoar Construction is the general contractor. Spanning 346,000 square feet, the new facility is located in close proximity to UAB’s existing Spain Rehabilitation Center.
