CPB Contractors Wins $463M Sydney Metro Station Project

CIMIC Group’s company, CPB Contractors, has been selected to build the new Sydney Metro City & Southwest Pitt Street Station. The NSW Government has awarded the contract, part of Sydney Metro, Australia’s biggest public transport project, which will generate revenue of approximately $463 million to CPB Contractors for design and construction of the station. The Integrated Station Development will provide a 250-meter-long underground Pitt Street Station running from Park Street to Bathurst Street, between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets, connecting the two station entries with retail and other commercial facilities. CPB Contractors Awarded Auckland International Airport Works

CIMIC Group company, CPB Contractors, has been awarded Auckland (New Zealand) Airport’s Taxiway Mike and Remote Stands Stage 2 project, a critical component in the facility’s major capital works program. The contract will generate revenue to CPB Contractors of approximately NZ$221 million over the next two years. This 4.6-kilometer structure, including 3.1 kilometers of engineering structures, located 3 kilometers from the Gatun and Agua Clara locks, creates a new link between the North American and South American continents that can be used whether the canal locks are in operation or not.
