Joint-Venture Team to Build New Amphitheater in Michigan

The Pioneer–Barton Malow joint-venture team will lead construction on Acrisure Amphitheater, a 12,000-seat riverside outdoor concert and event venue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Schematic designs are being finalized by Progressive AE, the executive architect on the project. When amphitheater construction is complete, the venue expects to host more than 54 ticketed performances each season, in addition to community celebrations and events. The 50:50 joint venture between Balfour Beatty and Gammon has been awarded a HK$3.7-billion contract from the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, a wholly owned innovation and technology company of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, to construct a new development at Cyberport, Hong Kong.
