Mall of Oman Awarded LEED Platinum Certification

The joint venture of Consolidated Contractors Company and Shapoorji Pallonji Middle East’s Mall of Oman Project — located in Dubai, U.A.E. — was awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum certification this spring. The Mall of Oman project achieved a Platinum certification under the LEED 2009 Core and Shell Development rating system with a total of 81 points. Dubai ‘Office of the Future’ Sets Guinness World Record

Recently, the 3D-printed Dubai landmark, Office of the Future, set a Guinness World Record as the first 3D-printed commercial building in the world. China State Construction Engineering Cooperation Middle East, general contractor on the project, has served throughout the process from design to construction. Adjacent to the Dubai World Trade Center, the Office of the Future is a 250-square-meter building that has built-in activity centers, offices and lounges.
