A $50-million addition and renovation project at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke in Raeford, North Carolina broke ground. Encompassing 50,000 square feet, the project includes a two-story addition with 24 patient rooms, a new medical office building and improvements to the existing sterile processing, imaging, kitchen, and dining facilities. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027. Robins & Morton is the general contractor. Grace Design Studios is the architect.
Turner, Tennessee Oncology Celebrate Opening of Midtown Medical Office Building
Turner Construction Company and Tennessee Oncology celebrated the opening of the $105 million Midtown Medical Office Building, a five-story, 311,881-square-foot facility that will serve as a hub for cancer care in Middle Tennessee. Turner provided comprehensive preconstruction and construction management services for the project, which features three levels of underground parking and five above-grade floors. The team managed three concurrent scopes of work: construction of the core and shell, full interior fit-out of four floors and completion of a specialized drug development unit. Construction firm Robins & Morton joined AdventHealth on Aug. 29 to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new medical office building on the AdventHealth Zephyrhills campus in Pasco County, Florida. The facility will provide nearly 35,000 square feet of additional space, while offering patients more high-quality healthcare options close to home. The building will house primary care and multiple specialty physician offices, including cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery and urology. Hoar Construction Breaks Ground on Medical Office Building for Anchor Health in Lakeland, Florida
A recent groundbreaking signaled the start of construction on the 77,200-square-foot Watson Clinic Medical Office Building for Anchor Health Properties in Lakeland, Florida. Hoar is serving as the general contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed by second quarter 2026 and will include offices and imaging labs. The four-story, tilt-wall project is going vertical, with a topping out expected later this summer. Three of the floors will be built out, totaling 55,702 square feet of offices, exam rooms and imaging suites. A 30-story medical office building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side recently topped out. Developed by Extell Development Company, the 400,000-square-foot facility, slated for completion in 2025, will house doctors’ offices, medical treatment centers and retail space on the ground floor. Lendlease provided pre-construction services ahead of the tower’s groundbreaking and is serving as construction manager for the development, which is being built on a full-block site located on the east side of First Avenue, between East 79th and East 80th streets.
